Applying to be a Summer Scholar @ CHQ

There are a few phases to our Application process. The first is the Pre-Application. We welcome you to pre-apply by January 31st if all of the following criteria apply:

Community College student in an Honors program or Phi Theta Kappa who will graduate from community college in the spring of 2026
Intending to transfer to a 4-yr institution to complete a Bachelor's degree in the fall of 2026
Pell Grant-eligible (per Free Application for Federal Student Aid ~ FAFSA)
U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident who is 18-25 years of age
Intellectually curious & interested in meeting new people & forming new connections
Participating (or interested) in extracurricular activities, research, community service, etc.
Able to walk 2+ miles per day
